Our mission and philosophy
What we are actually trying to do, and the beliefs that shape how we do it.
Our mission
ALLCARE LLC exists so that people who need help with daily living do not have to leave their homes to get it. Everything we do is measured against that: whether a person stayed where they wanted to be, safely, with their dignity intact.
We are not trying to be the largest agency in Hennepin County. We are trying to be one that families and case managers can rely on without checking up on us.
What we believe
Every person is unique and deserves care built around them. Two people receiving the same named service should have visibly different plans, because their routines, goals, and households are different. A plan copied from a template is not a plan.
Independence is the goal, not dependence. Where a person can do something themselves, our job is to support them doing it rather than to do it for them. That is slower and produces a worse result today, and it is the right trade.
Families are partners, not obstacles. Most caregiving in the households we serve is done by family. We support and train them rather than working around them.
Honesty is a service. If we cannot staff a schedule, if a home has become unsafe, if a different provider is a better fit, we say so. The alternative is a family finding out during a crisis.
How that shows up in practice
It shows up in small operational choices. We keep our service area tight enough to staff honestly, because a route that cannot be driven produces short visits for whoever is last on it. We assign the same caregivers to the same households, because a new face every week is disorienting for someone with dementia. We report changes in condition without being asked, because families managing care from a distance should not have to guess.
None of that is remarkable. It is just the difference between an agency that is managed and one that is not.
